sol15 #23: winter gets the last laugh



Welp, I knew spring wasn't here to stay. This morning, winter officially made its return to Chicago. Boo.

Last night, one forecaster called for "a dusting." Another said, "little to no accumulation." My weather app said 1-3 inches.

Well, 6 inches later, here we have it. The grass we waited so long to see is covered once again.

    I'm not sure why I'm surprised considering I have lived in the Chicago suburbs my whole life. But, every year I am surprised and disappointed when snow falls after the first day of Spring.

    Yuck! I love winter but I am ready for it to go. This morning the temperature was 9 degrees. I guess Old Man Winter just can't let go!

    It was so great to have the snow gone...for a couple of days anyway. It'll be gone by tomorrow night, though, with all the rain we're going to get overnight! Crazy Chicago weather!
